Lawful Permanent Residency

Before you can become a naturalized citizen of the United States, you must first secure your green card. There are two primary paths to acquiring permanent residency: (1) an individual must be a beneficiary of an approved petition; or (2) an individual may be the recipient of an immigrant visa that is processed at the U.S. consulate abroad, where they will enter the U.S. as a permanent resident.

Someone must file for (sponsor) that individual. This could be done through an immediate relative, or. a potential employer. In some instances, you may be able to sponsor yourself.

Permanent Residents (often called green card holders) are authorized to live and work on a permanent basis in the U.S.

In either option, the Hall Law Office Team will advocate on behalf of you and your family and we will thoroughly prepare you in each step of the process.
